The people you haven't met yet

We're reconnecting people, one real conversation at a time.

We've never been more connected online — or less connected in person. 5 Degrees is a movement to fix that, bringing people together face to face to build real relationships. And it's just getting started.

Why this matters

We didn't stop wanting connection. We stopped bumping into each other.

Work moved home. The places people used to meet without trying — the office, the gym, the sidelines — got quieter, and social media filled the gap with something that only looks like connection. Meeting people takes intent now. That's what 5 Degrees is for.

What 5 Degrees is

A simple idea with a big mission.

5 Degrees hosts small, guided in-person events where people actually connect — not swipe, not scroll, not small-talk. A little structure, a little technology, and real relationships form. Every event grows the web a degree wider.

Five people of mixed ages sitting close together around a small round table in a warm, casually lit room, mid-conversation, one of them laughing
Two people of different generations sitting across a small table in conversation, making eye contact, one smiling as the other speaks
A group of young adults around a table in a wood-toned room, laughing and leaning in, one of them mid-story

Meet Anne Casey

Spend five minutes with Anne and one thing is clear: she's a doer. Where most people simply notice how hard it's become to meet someone new, she's out there doing something about it — bringing real people together and creating opportunities for strangers to become friends.

She believes some of the best things in life happen when people get together, put their phones down, and actually talk. She took her vision, built the foundation, and is now getting the right people in the room. The members are what bring it to life — the ideas, the energy, and the people they bring with them.

5 Degrees — a movement built on REAL connection

Realiiz Showroom · Live case study 11

5 Degrees.

Everything above is their real home page, exactly as it runs on their site. 5 Degrees is a movement to help people meet in person again, so the first thing you see is the idea itself: a scattered crowd of faces that, as you scroll, gathers into one connected mark, and a point of light that travels to the button that says join.

  • The gathering

A scroll-driven scene: a field of faces drifts from strangers into one shape, then a light closes the ring on the call to action.

  • Events that keep themselves current

Upcoming events come from the calendar they edit, and the page refreshes itself, so last week's event never headlines.

  • Guides that get found

Long, honest guides on meeting people, written to be found by search and AI answers.

  • One way in

A join form with the same email and phone checks as every Realiiz form, tagged by interest in their CRM. This copy sends nothing.

None of this is a template. All of it is yours to change.

This site was built around one school's story. Yours would be built around yours: the look, the words, what it does, start to finish.
